Fine example of a handmade silver pedestal bowl. The raised bowl is hand chased in high relief with roses, leaves, thorns and stems set against a faceted background. The circular base, with its raised centre surmounted by a hexagonal and shaped finial, is also hand hammered with facetting. The three supports are of cast and open-work construction.
Suitable as a fruit bowl, or for flowers, this piece makes a beautiful centrepiece.
