This heavy quality silver tea and coffee service is made in the style of Paul Storr with circular fluted bodies and twin serpent mounts to the handles. The set comprises a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl and dimensions shown are for the teapot.
Paul Storr was one of, if not the most, outstanding English goldsmiths and silversmiths, working in the neoclassical and other styles during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. His work has always been highly regarded and therefore emulated.
