Large and fine 18th century antique silver salver, engraved with a large cartouche, within which the armorial marital arms of Colonel Robert Rushbrooke and Frances Davers. The raised openwork border and supports are of cast construction and finely detailed in relief with an elaborate, intertwined scroll and grape and vine leaf pattern.

The usable surface is 470mm (
18½") in diameter.
