The partridge is a medium-sized, plump gamebird that flies with whirring wings and occasional glides. It is strictly a ground bird and never likely to be found in a pear tree!
Our heavy quality silver partridge hen is cast in sterling silver using the traditional, centuries-old technique of lost wax casting where molten silver is poured into a mould that has been created by means of a wax model. Once the silver has solidified, the wax model is melted and drained away. Each model is then individually hand-chased to produce the lifelike effect seen in the finished piece.
