Four-piece first quality French silver (.950) tea set from the Art Deco era and comprising a silver teapot, hot water pot, milk jug and sugar bowl and lift-off cover. Demonstrating typical traits of Art Deco design, the two pots and sugar bowl feature stepped collars above their octagonal bodies, and have ebonised wood handles and finials.
The teapot and hot water jug are fitted with hinged covers and the water jug could usefully double up a coffee pot. Altogether a very stylish silver tea service.
