This pretty Dutch silver gallery tray - in 833 standard silver - was made in 1910 and has a beautifully hand-pierced border. It's a perfect cocktail tray.
Hallmarking and date marking items of silver began in the Netherlands around 1503 but there was no standardised procedure in place and each town had its own scheme for this practice. After 1814 two Dutch national hallmarking standards were established and operated - 93.4% silver and 83.3% silver.
