The partridge is a medium-sized, plump gamebird that flies with whirring wings and occasional glides. It is strictly a ground bird and never likely to be found in pear trees!
Our heavy quality silver partridge hen is cast in sterling silver using the traditional, centuries-old technique of lost wax casting where molten silver is poured into a mould that has been created by means of a wax model. Once the silver has solidified, the wax model is melted and drained away. Each model is then individually hand chased to produce the lifelike effect seen in the finished piece.
