Small running wild boar silver model

After an absence of 700 years, wild boar are roaming and breeding in the British countryside once again!

Like all Langfords' model animals and birds, this small, running silver model boar is cast in heavy gauge sterling silver using the traditional, centuries-old technique of lost wax casting where molten silver is poured into a mould that has been created by means of a wax model. Once the silver has solidified, the wax model is melted and drained away. Each of our models is then individually hand chased to produce the lifelike effect seen in the finished piece.
