One of the busiest vessels in the fleet, HMS Tyne is river-class patrol ship built to safeguard the fishing stocks. Her mission? To enforce national and EU fisheries legislation within British fishery limits.

Along with HMS Severn and HMS Mersey, they make up the Fishery Protection Squadron - the
Cod Squad - the oldest unit in the Royal Navy.

We were asked to make a silver model castle to represent the ship's emblem but instead were able to find a secondhand model that, although requiring some sympathetic restoration, offered a much larger piece than producing a bespoke example.

This is an example of a bespoke commission.  Get in touch to discuss your own ideas; we can make anything in silver.
