A fine example of a ceremonial regimental silver bugle. The body is hand chased with crossed muskets, flags, bugles and drums against a background of foliage and clouds. The removable mouthpiece is delicately hand engraved and parts are enhanced with partial gilding. The two rings would have had bugle cords in the regimental colours.

Engraved with the motto:
The blessings we enjoy, we guard.

This lovely silver bugle was retailed by Henry Potter, 30 Charing Cross, a renowned musical instrument maker founded in 1810, and presented it its original leather travelling case.
