A rare and wonderful antique silver pepper pot realistically modelled as a fox. Cast in sterling silver, the removable head of this fox pepperette is pierced under the chin to shake out the ground pepper.

Made by E H Stockwell, one the finest Victorian silversmiths, this model has lovely heavy feel in the hand and carries the main hallmark on its tail.
