Stunning antique silver wine cooler made by William Bateman II of the renowned Bateman silversmithing family. This melon-shaped cooler with lobed body features fine hand-chased floral and acanthus leaf decoration and the foot is engraved with two unidentified family crests. The removable inner sections are split into two parts, a hallmarked silver upper collar and original Old Sheffield Plate inner liner.
