An antique silver-plated Burmese bowl, known as a thabeik, from the early 20th century. Apart from being delightfully decorative, it would also serve as the perfect vessel for fruit or floral arrangements. The body is hand chased with highly detailed panels depicting ceremonial dancers in various poses set against pastoral scenes.
The bowl sits on domed supports and the base features an engraved stylised star pattern.
