An 86-piece set of hand-forged Old English pattern silver cutlery for 12 settings, all fitted in the original oak canteen.

Originating in the 1750s, Old English pattern with its simple clean lines, showing a single thumbnail to the reverse of the bowl and the pip on the front of the forks and the back of the spoons, is the definitive British flatware pattern and remains the most popular pattern through to the present day.

This cutlery service comprises:

24 table forks
12 table or serving spoons
12 round bowl soup spoons
12 dessert spoons
12 dessert forks
12 teaspoons
2 sauce ladles

The original set of faux ivory knives - table, dessert & fruit - are included in the cutlery service.

Modern silver knives in the Old English Pip, Spire or Pistol patterns, with silver handles and stainless steel blades (as seen in the images), making them suitable for the dishwasher, are available for an additional cost.

This Old English silver cutlery set is not available to purchase online. Please get in touch if you would like more information or are interested to buy it.
