Victorian hand-forged silver cutlery set for 12 settings and made by George Adams, one of the best cutlery makers of the 19th century. A charming design with the fiddle shape, thread borders and shell motif. On the reverse, shells appear on the heads and heels.

Dating from about 1810, Fiddle Thread & Shell flatware gained popularity in colonial America and is still very popular today.

The set comprises:
12 table forks
12 dessert forks
12 table soup spoons
12 dessert spoons
12 teaspoons

Since antique knives rarely survive, this service is completed with 12 pairs of new, Old English Thread & Shell, silver table and dessert knives, with stainless steel blades making them dishwasher-safe.

Prices exclude custom clearance fees which, where appropriate, will be charged directly to the client by your receiving courier, importer or government.
