Victorian hand-forged silver cutlery service in the Prince's pattern for 24 people, all fitted in its original wooden canteen. Prince's pattern was first produced around 1860. Its simple scroll and leaf border is typical of the mid-Victorian style.
This silver cutlery service was made by Francis Higgins II of London, 1876-1878 unless otherwise indicated

Since antique knives rarely survive, this fine silver cutlery set is completed with 24 pairs of new matching silver table and dessert knives with stainless steel blades, making them dishwasher safe.
