A most imposing and large antique silver bowl centrepiece, made during the latter period of Queen Victoria's reign in the 19th century. Made to be used as a punch bowl, this silver bowl would make an notable trophy and is also perfect as a wine cooler or as a centrepiece for floral displays.

The entire bowl and domed base are hand chased with lobes, bulbous fluting and detailed engraving of scrolling foliage and flowers. The shaped rim features a cast and applied scrolled leaf and shell pattern mount and a gadroon pattern applied wire surrounds the foot pedestal. Finally, the interior is gilded.
