An impressive and large pair of hallmarked antique silver paraffin lamps. The square bases have lower fluted bands with sloping sections above nicely decoration with relief detail of drapes and swags, and hand engraved with entwined initials.
Each lamp has a square fluted tapering column surmounted by a round, vase-shaped capital detailed with garlands and medallions.
The glass oil reservoirs are beautifully hand-engraved with ribbons and bows, and the silver-plated wick mechanisms are fitted with tall clear glass chimneys.
