This unusually tall and elegant pair of silver candlesticks was made by the eminent American silversmith Gorham & Co in Rhode Island. With simple domed round bases, supporting long slender tapering stems, round capitals and removable nozzles, this lovely pair of American silver candlesticks is tall enough to throw plenty of light across the table.
These silver candlesticks are filled to ensure stability and each has a silver baseplate underneath, a sign of quality.
