A fine example of a pair of Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks in the tapered Adam style that was circulating at the end of the 18th century. This pair of Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks, in a most elegant form, are in fine and original condition, showing typical copper bleeding on the highlights. The nozzles are removable to assist cleaning.
