Silver-plated version of De Vecchi's iconic T8 candelabra, first designed in 1947 and awarded the Diploma of Honor at the Milan Triennale the same year.

A single element unfolds in a fluid form in space and re-imagines the traditional structure of a candlestick. Despite looking entirely contemporary, T8's design is more than 70 years old being first conceived in 1947 by futurist artist and leading Italian silversmith of the 1950s, Piero De Vecchi.

Inspired by the futurist culture that was popular during that period, which in turn expressed De Vecchi's view of kinetic tension, the piece was designed to reinterpret a single continuous gesture suspended in space. It was awarded the Diploma of Honor at the 8th Milan Triennale in 1947 and today it is showcased in the Triennale's Museum of Design in Italy.
