Classic, Art Deco four-piece silver tea and coffee service with panelled bodies, hand engraved stepped panelled draped patterns on each corner. The handles of the two pots are ivory and the hinged covers have jewellers flush hinges, a mark of quality.

Art Deco was a popular design style in the 1920s and 1930s characterised especially by sleek geometric or stylised forms. It represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress. For that reason silverware for the table and entertaining was popular a popular way to reflect the style of the time.
